Nivel de conocimiento sobre la tuberculosis y su relación con la actitud hacia el tratamiento de tuberculosis en pacientes del Programa de Control de Tuberculosis en el Centro de Salud Primavera Lima Norte 2024

Abstract

Objetivo: Determinar la relación del conocimiento sobre la tuberculosis con la actitud hacia el tratamiento en pacientes del Centro de Salud Primavera Lima Norte 2025. Material y Métodos: Es un estudio de enfoque cuantitativo, de alcance correlacional, diseño no experimental, con corte transversal. Muestreo no probabilístico, donde se trabajó con 157 pacientes del Programa de Control de Tuberculosis en el Centro de Salud Primavera Lima Norte 2024, seleccionados al azar. Se utilizaron el Cuestionario sobre conocimiento sobre tuberculosis con validez aplicando la prueba binomial de p=0,0093 con confiabilidad de Kuder-Richardson de 0,77, y el Cuestionario sobre actitud hacia el tratamiento de tuberculosis pulmonar con p=0,0039 con confiabilidad de alfa de Cronbach de 0,80. Resultados, el conocimiento en su dimensión generalidades con la actitud hacia el tratamiento de tuberculosis en pacientes, hay medio nivel de conocimiento y media actitud en 40.8%. El conocimiento en dimensión tratamiento farmacológico con la actitud hacia el tratamiento de tuberculosis hay medio nivel de conocimiento y media actitud en 38.9%. El conocimiento en su dimensión alimentación con la actitud hacia el tratamiento de tuberculosis hay medio nivel de conocimiento y media actitud en 37.6%. El conocimiento en su dimensión control médico con la actitud hacia el tratamiento de tuberculosis hay medio nivel de conocimiento y media actitud en 36.9%. Conclusión, hay relación significativa del conocimiento de la tuberculosis con la actitud hacia el tratamiento en pacientes.

Objective: To determine the relationship between knowledge about tuberculosis and attitude toward treatment in patients at the Primavera Lima Norte 2025 Health Center. Materials and Methods: This is a quantitative study, with a correlational scope, non-experimental design, and cross-sectional. Non-probabilistic sampling, where 157 patients from the Tuberculosis Control Program at the Primavera Lima Norte 2024 Health Center were worked with, randomly selected. The Tuberculosis Knowledge Questionnaire was used with validity applying the binomial test of p = 0.0093 with Kuder-Richardson reliability of 0.77, and the Pulmonary Tuberculosis Attitude Questionnaire with p = 0.0039 with Cronbach's alpha reliability of 0.80. Results: Knowledge in its generalities dimension with attitude toward tuberculosis treatment in patients, there is a medium level of knowledge and medium attitude in 40.8%. Knowledge in the drug treatment dimension and attitude toward tuberculosis treatment were associated with a medium level of knowledge and a medium attitude at 38.9%. Knowledge in the nutrition dimension and attitude toward tuberculosis treatment were associated with a medium level of knowledge and a medium attitude at 37.6%. Knowledge in the medical control dimension and attitude toward tuberculosis treatment were associated with a medium level of knowledge and a medium attitude at 36.9%. Conclusion: There was a significant relationship between knowledge of tuberculosis and attitude toward treatment in patients.
