Capacidad respiratoria y fuerza muscular periférica en trabajadores del mercado de flores de Miraflores, 2025

Abstract

El presente estudio tiene como propósito analizar la relación existente entre la capacidad respiratoria y la fuerza muscular periférica en los trabajadores del mercado de flores de Miraflores en el año 2025. Para lograrlo, se empleará el método hipotético–deductivo, dado que permitirá partir de planteamientos generales hacia aspectos específicos, estableciendo hipótesis que posteriormente serán verificadas mediante la aplicación de técnicas de observación y encuestas. La investigación abarcará una población conformada por 100 trabajadores, constituyendo una muestra censal que representará la totalidad de los participantes. Para la recolección de información se utilizarán instrumentos confiables y validados: el manovacuómetro, destinado a medir la capacidad respiratoria, y el dinamómetro de Camry, con el fin de evaluar la fuerza muscular periférica. Posteriormente, todos los datos obtenidos serán codificados en una matriz diseñada en Microsoft Excel y procesados en el software estadístico SPSS versión 27.0, lo que permitirá identificar la correlación entre las variables de estudio. Dado que estas son de tipo ordinal, se aplicará la prueba estadística Rho de Spearman, adecuada para establecer el grado de asociación entre ellas. Finalmente, los resultados serán expuestos a través de tablas organizadas y detalladas que facilitarán una interpretación clara y objetiva de los hallazgos, contribuyendo de esta manera al análisis integral de la relación entre la función respiratoria y la fuerza muscular en esta población laboral. Con ello se busca aportar evidencia relevante para futuras investigaciones y posibles intervenciones que favorezcan la salud y el rendimiento físico de los trabajadores del sector.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between respiratory capacity and peripheral muscle strength in workers at the Miraflores flower market in 2025. To achieve this, the hypothetical-deductive method will be used, as it will allow us to move from general statements to specific aspects, establishing hypotheses that will later be verified through the application of observation techniques and surveys. The research will cover a population of 100 workers, constituting a census sample that will represent all participants. For data collection, reliable and validated instruments will be used: the manovacuometer, designed to measure respiratory capacity, and the Camry dynamometer, in order to evaluate peripheral muscle strength. Subsequently, all the data obtained will be coded in a matrix designed in Microsoft Excel and processed in the SPSS statistical software, version 27.0, which will allow us to identify the correlation between the study variables. Since these are ordinal in nature, Spearman's rho statistical test will be applied, which is appropriate for establishing the degree of association between them. Finally, the results will be presented in organized and detailed tables that will facilitate a clear and objective interpretation of the findings, thus contributing to the comprehensive analysis of the relationship between respiratory function and muscle strength in this working population. This aims to provide relevant evidence for future research and potential interventions that promote the health and physical performance of workers in the sector.
