Condición física en ancianos que concurren a un centro particular de rehabilitación en Lima, 2025

Abstract

Este trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo general determinar la condición física en ancianos que concurren a un centro particular de rehabilitación en Lima, 2025. Fue un estudio de tipo aplicada, con un enfoque cuantitativo, descriptivo simple y correlacional. En este estudio participaron 70 ancianos de 65 a 79 años, el instrumento que se utilizó para la recolección de datos fue el Senior Fitness Test el cual mide la condición física de los participantes. Dentro de los resultados observados tenemos que el 55.71% de los participantes fue de sexo femenino, la edad que más predomino fueron los adultos de 70 a 74 años en un 40%, el 38.57% presentó sobrepeso. En cuanto a la condición física presentaron valores normales en sus dimensiones fuerza, flexibilidad y equilibrio. Se concluyó que las condiciones físicas de los adultos mayores evaluados se encontraban dentro de los valores normales indicados por el Senior Fitness Test.

The general objective of this research work was to determine the physical condition in elderly people who attend a private rehabilitation center in Lima, 2025. It was an applied study, with a quantitative, simple descriptive and correlational approach. 70 elderly people between 65 and 79 years old participated in this study. The instrument used to collect data was the Senior Fitness Test, which measures the physical condition of the participants. Among the observed results we have that 55.71% of the participants were female, the most predominant age was adults from 70 to 74 years old at 40%, 38.57% were overweight. Regarding physical condition, they presented normal values in their dimensions of strength, flexibility and balance. It was concluded that the physical conditions of the older adults evaluated were within the normal values indicated by the Senior Fitness Test.
