Relación entre los niveles plasmáticos de magnesio y el perfil lipídico en pacientes con diabetes tipo II atendidos en la Farmacia Enzofarma. San Juan de Lurigancho, 2024

Abstract

Esta indagación tuvo como objetivo general Determinar la relación entre los niveles plasmáticos de magnesio y el perfil lipídico en pacientes con diabetes tipo II atendidos en la Farmacia Enzofarma, San Juan de Lurigancho, 2024. Metodología fue de tipo básico, corte trasversal, nivel correlacional y no experimental; la muestra fue 100 pacientes diagnosticados con Diabetes Tipo II y como instrumento se utilizó una ficha observacional para registrar los valores de magnesio y perfil lipídico; se realizó un análisis descriptivo y con el fin de contrastar las hipótesis se empleó el coeficiente de correlación de Rho de Spearman. Como resultado, se obtuvo una relación positiva y débil (p<0.05, Rho=0,173) entre el nivel de magnesio y perfil lipídico en la dimensión triglicéridos; una relación positiva y moderada (p<0.05, Rho=0,223) en las dimensiones colesterol total; una relación positiva muy fuerte (p<0.05, Rho=0,939) en las dimensiones colesterol HDL y una relación positiva débil (p<0.05, Rho=0,152) en la dimensión colesterol LDL. Conclusión: se concluye que, el nivel plasmático de magnesio y el perfil lipídico tiene una relación significativa en pacientes con diabetes tipo II atendidos en la Farmacia Enzofarma, San Juan de Lurigancho, 2024.

The general objective of this research was to determine the relationship between plasma magnesium levels and the lipid profile in patients with type II diabetes treated at the Enzofarma Pharmacy, San Juan de Lurigancho, 2024. The study was basic, cross-sectional, correlational and non-experimental level; The sample was 100 patients diagnosed with Diabetes Type II and as an instrument an observational sheet was used to record the magnesium values and lipid profile; A descriptive analysis was carried out and in order to contrast the hypotheses, Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient was used. Regarding the results, a positive and weak relationship (p<0.05, Rho=0.173) was obtained between the magnesium level and lipid profile in the triglyceride dimension; a positive and moderate relationship (p<0.05, Rho=0.223) in the total cholesterol dimensions; a very strong positive relationship (p<0.05, Rho=0.939) in the HDL cholesterol dimensions and a weak positive relationship (p<0.05, Rho=0.152) in the LDL cholesterol dimension. Conclusion: it is concluded that the plasma level of magnesium and the lipid profile have a significant relationship in patients with type II diabetes treated at the Enzofarma Pharmacy, San Juan de Lurigancho, 2024.
