Tolerancia al ejercicio y flujo pico espiratorio en pacientes post Covid del centro Respirando2, 2024

Abstract

Las secuelas del COVID-19 en pacientes pueden manifestarse como daño pulmonar crónico, incluyendo fibrosis y reducción de la capacidad respiratoria. Además, muchos experimentan síntomas persistentes como disnea y fatiga, lo que resalta la importancia de la rehabilitación pulmonar en su recuperación. El objetivo del presente estudio fue conocer si existe relación entre las variables estudiadas como es la tolerancia al ejercicio y flujo pico espiratorio en pacientes post Covid-19 del Centro Respirando2, 2024. Asimismo, en la parte metodológica, el tipo de estudio fue descriptivo, correlacional, prospectivo, transversal no experimental, los participantes fueron 92 pacientes post Covid. Los instrumentos usados fueron la prueba de caminata de seis minutos y el flujómetro. Los resultados fueron de la tolerancia al ejercicio 467,24 metros con una desviación estándar de ±118,883 metros y el flujo pico espiratorio 392,78 puntos con una desviación estándar de 120.516 puntos. Se concluyo que existe relación significativa entre la tolerancia al ejercicio y el pico flujo espiratorio de los pacientes post Covid-19 del Centro Respirando2, 2024.

The sequelae of COVID-19 in patients can manifest as chronic lung damage, including fibrosis and reduced respiratory capacity. In addition, many experience persistent symptoms such as dyspnea and fatigue, highlighting the importance of pulmonary rehabilitation in their recovery. The objective of the present study was to find out if there is a relationship between the variables studied such as exercise tolerance and peak expiratory flow in post-Covid-19 patients at the Respirando2 Center, 2024. Likewise, in the methodological part, the type of study was descriptive, correlational, prospective, non-experimental cross-sectional, the participants were 92 post-Covid patients. The instruments used were the six-minute walk test and the flowmeter. The results were exercise tolerance 467.24 meters with a standard deviation of ±118.883 meters and peak expiratory flow 392.78 points with a standard deviation of 120,516 points. It was concluded that there is a significant relationship between exercise tolerance and peak expiratory flow in post-Covid-19 patients at the Respirando2 Center, 2024.
