Estrategias de afrontamiento y el estrés académico de los estudiantes de enfermería de una universidad privada de Lima, 2023

Abstract

El objetivo planteado fue establecer la relación entre las estrategias de afrontamiento y el estrés académico de los estudiantes de enfermería de la Universidad Privada de Lima, 2023. En cuanto al material y método la investigación se desarrolló bajo el enfoque cuantitativo, mediante el diseño no experimental correlacional, es de tipo aplicada. La población fue de 100 estudiantes conformada por V, VI, VII ciclo de la Escuela de Enfermería, los instrumentos empleados fueron el Cuestionario de Afrontamiento al Estrés para la variable estrategias de afrontamiento y el Cuestionario SISCO de estrés académico que va a medir el nivel de estrés académico. La prueba estadística utilizada para probar la hipótesis fue el coeficiente de correlación paramétrico r Pearson, se halló un p=0.001 < 0.05 y un r= 0.337, esto significaría que se según el resultado hay una significancia menor que 0.05 por tanto se acepta la hipótesis alterna y se rechaza la hipótesis nula, así mismo se halló un R de Pearson de 337 lo que significa que es directa y de intensidad moderada en mi muestra. Es entonces que se concluye que existe relación significativa entre las variables estrategias de afrontamiento y estrés académico

The objective set was to establish the relationship between coping strategies and academic stress of nursing students at the Private University of Lima, 2023. Regarding to the material and method, the research was developed under the quantitative approach, through a non-experimental design correlational, and applied type. The population was 100 students made up of V, VI, VII cycle of the School of Nursing. The instruments used were the Stress Coping Questionnaire for the coping strategies variable and the SISCO Academic Stress Questionnaire that will measure the level of academic stress. The statistical test used to test the hypothesis was the parametric correlation coefficient r Pearson, a p=0.001 < 0.05 and r= 0.337 were found, this would mean that according to the result there is a significance less than 0.05, therefore the hypothesis is accepted alternates and the null hypothesis is rejected, likewise a Pearson's R of 337 was found, which means that it is direct and of moderate intensity in the sample. It is then concluded that there is a significant relationship between the variable coping strategies and academic stress.
