Conocimiento y actitud sobre los implantes dentales en pacientes de una clínica docente 2024

Abstract

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo: Determinar el conocimiento y actitud sobre los implantes dentales en pacientes de una clínica docente. Metodología: Fue no experimental, transversal de alcance descriptivo. Como población se consideró a los pacientes que se atienden en la Clínica Docente de la UPNW durante el ciclo 2024-II., con una muestra de 100 pacientes que acudieron a la Clínica Docente de la UPNW, se utilizó el muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. Para la variable conocimiento sobre los implantes se consideró un cuestionario con 12 preguntas, con alternativa, SI o NO, divididas en tres dimensiones tuvieron una puntuación de 0 a 12 puntos. Para la variable actitud hacia los implantes dentales. Se tomó en cuenta un cuestionario de 12 preguntas referidas sobre actitud comprendía en tres dimensiones: Previo al tratamiento (Pgta 1-4) en el tratamiento (Pgta 5-8), posterior al tratamiento (Pgta 9-12). Se procesaron los datos considerando el uso del p valor, siendo p<0,005 la afirmación de la hipótesis Ha y p>0,05 la aceptación de la hipótesis nula. Resultados: Se aprecia el conocimiento sobre implantes dentales según edad, género y grado de instrucción, en mayoría respecto a la edad, en pacientes de 15 a 59 años fue bueno en un 84.1% (N°=74), de 60 años a más fue bueno en un 8% (N°=66.7). Conclusión: El conocimiento sobre los implantes dentales en mayoría fue bueno en un 82% (N°=82), y la actitud, en mayoría fue favorable en un 80% (N°=80) en los pacientes de una clínica docente.

The objective of this study was to: Determine the knowledge and attitude about dental implants in patients of a teaching clinic. Methodology: It was non-experimental, transversal with a descriptive scope. The population was considered to be the patients treated at the UPNW Teaching Clinic during the 2024-II cycle. With a sample of 100 patients who attended the UPNW Teaching Clinic, non probabilistic convenience sampling was used. For the variable knowledge about implants, a questionnaire was considered with 12 questions, with an alternative, YES or NO, divided into three dimensions, with a score of 0 to 12 points.
